Thunder Bay to Wawa

I have a good friend who reminds me its not the destination but the journey that is important.  We were reminded of that again as we had to wait in Thunder Bay to see about our engine light.  It meant staying longer in Thunder Bay... a night at Fort William in their RV park and we got to go to the Observatory and heard a great lecture about planets and got to hold some meteorites (very cool), and we got to attend the church Bruce and his family attended.  They had a pot luck picnic after the church service which was great fun.

Our last night in Thunder Bay was spent in a car lot boon docking as we waiting for our appointment the next morning to see about our emergency engine light.  It turned out that we could continue our journey and it can wait until we get back home - yeah!

So off we go again.  We travelled through a lot of remote areas and I really wondered if we would find a campsite for tonight.  I am thankful that we are tucked away in a nice site with wifi, washrooms, and a pool.  Someone is definitely looking after us.

And we had another bear sighting.  This time its an Ontario black bear.

This guy crossed the road in front of us but before we could get the camera turned on he was already down on the other side.

So many beautiful spots around Lake Superior

This seemed like a good spot to stop for lunch.

Along the roadside there were a lot of red rock formation.

Until next time ...
